Welcome to West Meadow! Weslie here! 

Can you remember being a kid and showing off a drawing that you were really proud of? Maybe something that you made out of sticks or mud? It may be hard to remember, but I can almost guarantee that it happened at some point. You made something, and you were proud. 

God made you, and called you good. I can picture the smile on his face - a proud Father.

Since we were created in His image, we too are creators. And, like children, we run to our Father and show Him what we’ve made… and He is proud. Not only were we created to create, but we were created to connect with others. 

This is the vision of West Meadow Pottery - To curate experiences, and an environment, fuelled by connection and creativity. And maybe some good coffee and snackies, too. ;)

The goal is never perfection, but rather the creative process itself. I want to help you learn to enjoy it, and to do so alongside others.

I want to see kids creating with their parents, forging a new kind of bond over something handmade. I want to see siblings laughing alongside one another at a crooked nose on a clay planter, friends creating together at a bachelorette party, couples engaged in conversation while they make cute mugs for one another. Creativity is limitless and new ideas arise all the time. 

Because no person is quite like you and no group is quite like your group, the things you create here will be uniquely yours. That is one of the many beauties of art - even if you don’t consider yourself to be a creative person, when you come here, you will be making something that’s NEVER been made before. And I think that’s pretty exciting. :)
